No Snow but Twite, Kingfisher & amusing Magpie

A walk to Grune Point today didn't produce Snow Buntings (reported last week) but on the way back to the car I stumbled across a small flock of Twite that proved confiding in the bright morning sunshine. Further on I spotted two Magpie behaving like Oxpeckers on the backs of sheep and presented an opportunity for something special on the photo front. Finally, nearby I was photographing a Grey Heron by a roadside pool when I noticed a flash of blue to my right and there was the most gorgeous Kingfisher, perched on a fence post - a thrilling moment.
