New sub-species for the House List

The marshes have recently started filling up with geese again (Barnacle and Pink-footed) now that the snow has gone, and I expect numbers will continue to increase towards the end of the month as they stock up for the long migration back to their breeding grounds. Scanning through them today I was pleased to find a Pale-bellied Brent amongst a larger than normal flock of Pink-feet, its bright white belly and black neck standing out against monochrome background of the grey-brown birds with which it associated. Having only seen Dark-bellied Brent before from the house (29th Nov 2014), it was nice to add its lighter-bellied cousin to the House List.
