Holy Island invasion

A full day on Holy Island started slowly but warmed up from mid-morning onwards as I began to find evidence of an invasion of semi-rarities: a singing male Icterine Warbler, Red-breasted Flycatcher (possibly 2), an adult male Red-backed Shrike, Osprey, Pied Flycatcher (2)... Many hours of walking loaded up with kit eventually paid off, with the highlights being the Flycatchers and the Shrike, although a singing Icterine was an entirely new experience for me. I was also pleased with one or two of the images I took:
