Spanish songster shows off

A 2.5 hr drive via various diversions and on roads packed with caravans and tractors proved to be well worth it in the end. The Iberian Chiffchaff at Norwood Edge Plantation, Yorkshire, continued to hold territory, as it had done for a good month or so, and showed very well indeed from the moment I arrived. The song - its main diagnostic feature - was indeed very different: faster, shorter, with added notes and finishing with a rapid-fire Cetti's Warbler/Chaffinch-like flourish. It also posed nicely for a photo - eventually!
