Gorgeous Godwits and a Momentary Merlin

Again, nothing to write home about (but just enough to write a blog on!). Black-tailed Godwits showed well at Anthorn between 12th and 17th September, and Little Egret numbers grew to 10. A couple of Knot were there too, Ruff showed a little better (up to 13) but the 4-5 Greenshank kept their distance. A single male Merlin made a brief appearance, and there was still the odd Osprey around.
