Longtown Long-tailed in Black and White

A quick trip to the pools at Longtown during the last days of lockdown no.2, on 29th November, was well worth it. Four Long-tailed Ducks were still showing and were visible from the moment I arrived. Fieldcraft paid off after a while and I worked out how to show the birds at their best, using the flat-calm water and dark surrounds to my advantage.
