Marsh Mayhem

A 4-hour stint at the local marshes paid off today. I couldn't find the Todd's this time, but consolation came in the guise of a nice Pale-bellied Brent Goose. Better still, as I was watching it through the gorse bushes, I noticed an egret close in to my left. Raising my bins, I expected Little but it turned out to be a Great! Not only that but it then proceeded to hunt for prey in the dyke right next to me and soon came up with what I presumed was an eel... And I also got better shots of Raven, two of which were making a racket as they circled over the geese flock.
