Snow Goose again & Green Sand

On 11th March I got more shots of the Snow Goose (but nothing spectacular). Even better if anything, I managed to get good shots of Green Sandpiper - the first time I've been reasonably successful with this species in Cumbria. Green Sandpipers seem to be more easily found in winter around here, but they're still hard to pin down and individuals are usually flushed from the dykes and ditches on the marsh, being seen briefly and only in flight. So, it was nice to get good views and some decent record shots of a bird today near Kirkbride. (It was there again on 12th.)
